Solve the following equation :
3s+12=0

3s+12=0 $\Rightarrow 3s+12–12=0-12$ [Subtracting 10 from both sides]
$\Rightarrow 3s=-12$
$\Rightarrow \frac{3s}{3}=\frac{-12}{3}$ [Dividing both sides by 3]
$\Rightarrow s=-4$
