Dear Student,
Critical temperature is the maximum temperature at which a gas can be liquified. Above this temperature, a gas cannot exist in liquid state. Now, critical temperature of NH3 is 405.5 K and critical temperature of CO2 is 304.10 K. This means NH3 cannot be liquified above 405.5 K and CO2 cannot be liquified above 304.10 K . Therefore, at 350 K NH3 can be liquified whereas CO2 cannot.
