Solution

The correct option is A Genetic composition of the individual
The genetic constitution of a cell or an organism is referred to as its genotype. Genotype consists of the sum total of all recessive and dominant alleles of all genes. The germ cells are the product of meiosis, the reductional division that reduces the chromosome number to half as compared to the germ mother cells. Therefore, germ cells are haploid and carry the single allele for each gene. All cells of a diploid organism, being the plastid cells or that of any other organs, are the product of diploid zygote and carry the same genetic constitution. Thus, the correct answer is option A.
