[NiCl4]2=3d8; Cl being weak ligand doesn't compel (configuration sp3) for the pairing of electrons.
Hence, the complex has a tetrahedral geometry.

[Ni(CN)4]23d8 configuration. (CN) being strong ligand compel for the pairing of the electrons. Hence, square planar geometry.

Ni2++6H2O[Ni(H2O)6]2+

[Ni(H2O)6]2+3d8 configuration. As with 3d8 configuration, two orbitals are not available for d2sp3 hybridisation.
So, it will have octahedral geometry.
