Solution

The correct option is C cuboidal epithelium
a) Pseudo-stratified epithelium is a simple epithelium which gives a false impression of stratified epithelium. It is seen in the trachea. The ciliated pseudo-stratified epithelium secrete mucus and cilia sweep away the foreign particles trapped by the mucous.

b) Ciliated columnar epithelium bears the apical surface of the columnar epithelium. They help move particles to a specific direction.

(c) Cuboidal epithelium is found in the ducts, glands and tubular parts of the various parts of the body. They are also found in the germinal epithelium covering the ovary and the lining of thyroid vesicles.

(d) Squamous epithelium is present in regions where there is diffusion that takes place. It is seen in the inner lining of the blood vessels, the alveoli of lungs, Bowman’s capsule.
