Biotic components include animals, plants microorganisms etc.and abiotic components include land, soil, water, atmosphere etc.Both of them are interdependent and related to each other.One cannot exist without the other. Biotic components like plants and animals need water to survive.Similarly, the difference in the availability of water and soil in the regions automatically affects the growth of plants and vegetation.Wet areas are more fertile and have more plants compared to the dry and arid regions.
