Solution
Blood is a fluid connective tissue present in humans and other animals.
It main function is to carry nutrients and oxygen to the cells and transports metabolic waste products away from those same cells.
In humans, it is composed of blood cells suspended in blood plasma.
Plasma contains 55% of blood fluid which is mostly water and also contains proteins, glucose, mineral ions, hormones, carbon dioxide and blood cell.
The blood cells are:-
1) Red blood cells or RBCs or erythrocytes
2) White blood cells or WBCs or leukocytes
3) Platelets or thrombocytes
