An organism that lives in or on an organism of another species (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the other's expense is called Parasite, Eg: Human parasites like certain protozoa and worms infect humans and cause parasitic diseases. Human parasites are divided into endoparasites, which cause infection inside the body, and ectoparasites, which cause infection superficially within the skin.
