Solution
Kanyakumari experiences equable climate because of the following reasons:
Kanyakumari is located at the tip of the Indian sub-continent.
Kanyakumari will experience Maritime climate and also falls under the equatorial climate zone. Three different water bodies merge at this place making it more equable.
Central Maharashtra gets less rainfall than the coastal area of Maharashtra due to the leeward region/rain shadow region of western ghats. No rainfall due to the descending air in central Maharashtra.
Jaipur has a higher annual range of temperature than Mumbai due to arid/ dry conditions of Jaipur. Mumbai incurs maritime climate (sea coast helps in moderating the climate).
