Give a reason for the removal of wax layer too often will raise the incidence of ear infection.

Ear wax or cerumen is a yellowish waxy natural substance produced by the ceruminous and sebaceous gland of the outer ear canal. It protects the skin of the ear canal, assists in cleaning and lubrication and also provides some protection against bacteria, fungi, insects, and water.
So, removing of wax layer is not required but in a case when the excess wax is produced. It is needed to be removed because it can create a hearing problem.
