Give a reason why Micropyle remains as a small pore in the seed coat of a seed.

After the fertilization, the ovule develops into the seed. The micropyle end is the one from which the male gamete enters the ovule and fertilization takes place.
After fertilization and seed formation the micropile remained as a small pore in the seed as a scar.
