Disease:

  1. The disease can be defined as the physical or functional change in the body from a normal state that can cause discomfort or disability in body.
  2. Diseases may be due to several factors such as:
  3. Imbalance in the diet.
  4. Disease due to some infection.
  5. Disease due to some microorganisms.
  6. Disease due to malfunctioning of vital body organs such as the heart, and kidney.

Diabetes:

  1. Diabetes is a disease caused by the pancreas malfunctioning of the pancreas in the body.
  2. The pancreas produces a hormone called insulin.
  3. Insulin is very essential for balancing the sugar level in the body.
  4. When enough insulin is not produced the sugar level rises in the blood and urine
  5. Symptoms of diabetes are excessive thirst, frequent urination, loss of weight, and fatigue.

Heart diseases:

  1. Heart diseases include atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease,
  2. In atherosclerosis, the arterial wall gets hard and thick which reduces the flow of blood in the body and raises the blood pressure.
  3. In coronary heart disease, arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle get hard and the blood supply to the heart muscle reduces.
  4. It leads to a reduced supply of oxygen to the muscles and it can lead to chest pain.
