  1. This formula involves two incisors, one canine, two premolars, and three molar teeth in one quadrant.

Structure and Function:

Incisors: These teeth are flat-shaped like a chisel. These are used to bite and break food into pieces.

Canine: These teeth are sharp and pointed. They can tear them into fine particles.

Pre molar: These teeth are flat on top and has an uneven surface. They grind the fine particles and soften them for swallowing.

Molar: These teeth are having much wider surface. They are also used to grind and crush the food.
