Photosynthesis:

  1. Photosynthesis is a process in which green plants make their own food from carbon dioxide and water using sunlight.
  2. Sunlight is captured by the green pigment called chlorophyll.
  3. Through photosynthesis, glucose is formed and it is stored in the plants in the form of starch.
  4. Oxygen is also released in photosynthesis.
