Solution
Dear user,
Ozonolysis :
Ozonolysis is the cleavage of an alkene or alkyne with ozone
to form organic compounds in which the multiple carbon carbon bond
is replaced by a double bond to oxygen. The resulting compound can
either be a ketone or an aldehyde or mixture of both depending
upon the reagents used in the reaction.
