Solution
Gamosepalous flower:
Gamosepalous flowers are those whose sepals are joined or fused, either entirely or just at the base.
The outermost whorl of a flower is referred to as the calyx.
It consists of sepals, which are tiny leaves found at the base of flowers.
The calyx is referred to as polysepalous if the sepals are free, and gamosepalous if they are joined.
Examples of gamosepalous flowers are
Hibiscus
and periwinkle.
