Give an example of a situation where a body has zero velocity but non zero acceleration.

Dear student,
When an object is thrown upwards, then at the maximum height, velocity of body is zero at that instant but it has acceleration due to gravity. So, at the highest point for a body thrown upwards, velocity is zero and acceleration is equal to g (9.8 m/s2) in downward direction
