Reticulate venation - When the veins of a leaf form a net-like arrangement, it is known as reticulate venation. Found in dicot plants. Examples: mango, guava, peepal.
Parallel venation - When the veins run parallel and do not form a network, it is known as parallel venation. Found in monocot plants. Examples: banana, grass,maize.
