Open in App
Solution

  1. Carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) is a covalent compound.
  2. The charged particles or ions are responsible for the conductance of electricity in the solution.
  3. So, there are no charged particles in CCl4 which are free to move and conduct the electricity.

Hence, CCl4 does not conduct electricity.
