Trees are cut to make the land concrete. Cutting trees should be discouraged because they provides oxygen in the atmosphere. They also help in maintaining appropriate rain. In absence of trees, the soil will not be able to soak water and will cause flood. Also, trees are primary producers. All other organisms directly or indirectly depends on trees for food.
