Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants obtain their food with the help of carbon dioxide, water, light, and chlorophyll (a green color pigment in plants).

Respiration:

Respiration is the oxidation of glucose into energy (ATP) along with carbon dioxide and water as a byproduct.
