Solution

  • Common examples of condensation are: dew forming on grass in the early morning, eye glasses fogging up when you enter a warm building on a cold winter day, or water drops forming on a glass holding a cold drink on a hot summer day.
  • Wet clothes dry in sun due to evaporation - the water in wet clothes takes heat energy from sun and gets evaporated.
  • A good example of Transfer of heat would be heating a tin can of water using a Bunsen burner.
  • Examples of Solid to Gas (Sublimation) Dry Ice - Solid carbon dioxide is known as "dry ice" and sublimates at room temperature.
