2. Purification of river water for drinking purposes is carried out by filtration through sand beds.
3. A mixture of sawdust and Water (${\mathrm{H}}_2\mathrm{O}$), Charcoal ($\mathrm{C}$) and Water (${\mathrm{H}}_2\mathrm{O}$), Zinc Dust ($\mathrm{Zn}$), and Water (${\mathrm{H}}_2\mathrm{O}$) can be separated by the process of filtration.
