Open in App
Solution

The following are two examples of non-contact forces:
1) Gravitational Force: It is a force exerted by the earth on all objects that are near or on its surface. For example, an apple falls downwards from a tree due to the force of gravity being exerted in that direction.
2) Magnetic Force: It is a force that is exerted by magnets on magnetic materials like iron, cobalt, etc. and on other magnets.
