  • They originate from the radicle of seed.

  • Helps in the absorption of water and minerals.
  • Provide anchorage to plant.
  • Sometime modify to fulfill different needs of plant-like storage, support etc.
b).Stem:-
  • They originate from the plumule of the seed.
  • They are positively phototropic.
  • Helps in the translocation of water, minerals, and food with the help of vascular bundles.
  • They modify into flower and help in reproduction.
  • Provide support, strength, and connectivity to organs of a plant.
c).Leaves:-
  • It is divided into three main parts -leaf base, petiole, and lamina.
  • It contains a green colored pigment known as chlorophyll.
  • It is responsible for the formation of food in plants.
  • It is born at the nodes of a stem.
  • The lamina is traversed by vascular strands known as veins.
