Male infertility is caused when there is problem with either sperm production or sperm transport.
Causes of infertility in males:
1. Abnormal sperm production or function due to undescended testicles.
2. Premature ejaculation, genetic diseases, diabetes, infections like gonorrhea, mumps or HIV.
3. Structural problems like blockage in the testicle.
4. Overexposure to certain factors like frequent exposure to heat, smoking, alcohol, drugs, select antibiotics, antihypertensives, steroids, radiation.
