Four uses of Carbon dioxide-

• Carbon dioxide is used by plants during photosynthesis. It is the process by which plants use Carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight to prepare their own food and gives out carbohydrate and oxygen.
• It is used for the preparation of fertilizers like urea.
• It does not support combustion, hence, it is used in fire extinguishers.
• It is used in aerated drinks, which are solutions of Carbon dioxide with water under pressure.
