Give information about the fort of Agra.

Agra Fort is a historical fort, which remained the main residence of the Mughal emperors till 1638. Its reconstruction was begun by Akbar between 1565 and 1573. It is situated on the west bank of the Jumna River, about 2km upstream from the Taj Mahal. The fort contains splendid palaces both in red sandstone and white marble. It is a UNESCO world heritage site.
