Solution

Naming: 2 Marks
Red blood Corpuscles and Nerve cells.

Explanation; 3 Marks

Red blood cell production takes place rapidly in the bone marrow, (7 trillion new cells each month). However, when they join the bloodstream the nucleus is ejected through a process called Enucleation. When this happens, these mature red blood cells/erythrocytes cannot undergo mitosis, because they no longer have a nucleus or chromosomes to do so.

Neurons cannot divide because they lack centrioles which play a primary role in cell division.
