Irreversible changes:

  • The changes which are permanent are known as irreversible changes.
  • Examples of irreversible changes are the burning of fuels and rusting of Iron.

Example of change that occurs on heating but cannot be reversed:

  • The baking of bread cannot be reversed.
  • Thus it is an example of the change that happens in heating and cannot be reversed.
