Wind pollination:

  1. The pollination or transfer of pollen is carried out by wind currents. It is called anemophily.
  2. Flowers that are pollinated by wind belong to monocots or hardwood plants. e.g. Grass, Oak, Beechwood.

Water pollination:

  1. The pollination or transfer of the pollen grains is carried out by the water currents. It is called hydrophily.
  2. For example flowers such as Vallisneria, and Hydrilla.

Insect pollination:

  1. The pollination or transfer of the pollen grains is carried out by the insects. It is called entemophily.
  2. For example flowers such as Papaya and chestnut.
