Dear Student,
1. If the velocity of object increases ,then body is said to be in positive Acceleration.
Ex: A ball rolling down on inclined plane.
2. If the velocity is decreasing then the acceleration is said to be Negative acceleration.
Ex: A ball moving up on inclined plane.
3. Acceleration is zero when the body is moving with constant velocity.
Ex: When a car is moving on a straight road with uniform velocity.
