Solution
(i) Implantation is the fixing of the blastocyst in the endometrium of the uterus.
Whereas parturition is the act of delivering full-term foetus at the end of gestation from the uterus.
(ii) In active absorption, water is absorbed against DPD gradient using the metabolic energy. Whereas pPassive absorption: Water is absorbed due to force developed by transpiration pull.
(iii) Simple fruits are formed from a single carpel or more but fused carpels of a flower. Whereas aggregate fruit develops from several ovaries of free carpels of a flower.
(iv) Auricles are the upper chambers of the heart that receive the impure blood from the veins. Whereas ventricles are lower chambers of the heart that pump the blood out of the heart.
