2. The number of protons is the same, so it is the same elements.For example ${}_6{}^{12}\mathrm{C}$ and ${}_6{}^{14}\mathrm{C}$.
3. Isotopes do not have a special place in the periodic table.

Use of radioisotopes:- It is used in cancer treatment, food irradiation, and radiography.
