  • When we add a drop of red ink to water, the ink particles break down into small tiny particles.
  • These tiny ink particles diffuse continuously till all gaps or free space present in water are occupied.
  • There is intermixing of red ink and water and this process is known as diffusion.
  • Thus, due to diffusion whole container turns into red color.
