Question
Give Reason :
An Ogive is a graph of cumulative frequency distribution.
Open in App
Solution
Ogive is the graphical representation of the cumulative frequency distribution, thus it is sometime called as cumulative frequency polygon.
An ogive graph plot the class boundaries on x-axis and cumulative frequency on the y-axis.
Ogive graph can be plot in two ways:-
Less than ogive, it is drawn by the addition of first term to last term and more than ogive, it is drawn by the addition of last term to frist term.
