Solution

Dear student,

1) Rusting of iron is oxidation of iron from Fe to Fe2O3 this is favoured in moist environment and as moisture content is high in rainy season, rusting is faster
2) Lime water is the aqueous solution of calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2. It reacts with carbon dioxide to form insoluble precipitate of calcium carbonate CaCO3 which makes the solution appear milky.
3) Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate and vinegar contains acetic acid. When baking soda is added to vinegar, sodium acetate is formed and carbon dioxide is released creating the effervescence or fizz.
