Every gas undergoes a cyclic process in the atmosphere wherein these gases are used and released by various organisms through different processes. The consistency maintained in the cycling of these gases leads to almost same percentage of these gases in the atmosphere.
Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is absorbed by plants and the same is released back to the atmosphere through the process of respiration, thus maintaining a constant composition of the gas. However, increased use to automobiles have increased the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which is causing severe harmful effects to the environment and living organisms.
