Isomers belonging to the same homologous series may differ in physical properties but not in chemical properties.

Isomers belonging to same homologous series have the same functional group just the spatial arrangement is different and hence the chemical properties are the same.
All alcohols will be oxidised to aldehydes irrespective of the number of carbon atoms in their chain.
