Solution

Meristematic plant tissues are made up of actively dividing cells. Their only function is to produce more cells leading to the growth of the plant body. The cells comprising meristematic tissues are small and circular, with thin cell walls and a dense cytoplasm. Since these cells are continuously dividing, they lack vacuoles and have a large and prominent nucleus. have thin cellulosic wall, no vacuoles, dense cytoplasm, and prominent nuclei.
