Urbanization:

1. The process of shifting from rural areas such as villages to urban areas such as cities is called Urbanization.
2. The main reason for urbanization is the lack of good education, medical infrastructure, and unemployment.

Reason

1. When a group of population shifts from one region to another region, this leads to scarcity as well as overexploitation of available resources (Water, food, shelter, etc).
2. Urbanization causes overpopulation which in turn leads to pollution too.
3. This leads to an extremely difficult situation for both the already existing population and also for the new ones.
