Question

Give reason : why do not solids posses fluidity

Open in App
Solution

Solids do not possess fluidity because particles of solids are very rigid and don't have much spaces between them. That's the reason why solids do not possess fluidity. This is because the intermolecular molecules are very tightly packed. This makes solid to be strong and do not allow it to flow.
