Give reason why do sugar and water retain their original properties in a sugar solution

2. In a mixture we know that the components do not combine chemically.
3. So water and salt do not react chemically hence the individual components i.e salt and water retain their original properties in the salt solution.
4. This is the reason why they have their individual property in the solution.
