Give reason why the cooling of refrigerator is made at the top

The freezer is always made at the top of refrigerator because it cools all the space of fridge by convection currents. A convection current is a process that involves movement of energy from one place to another. Due to cooling air becomes cold and denser nad it moves downwards. Cold aur is heavier and denser. So cold air moves downwards and hot air which is less denser moves in upward direction. Thus cold air moves downwards and cool up all the refrigerator. If it will be placed anywhere else then cooling wouldn't be much effective.
