Question

give reasons-a)surgical methods of contraception cannot prevent gamete formation?

Open in App
Solution

Surgical method of contraception involved surgically removal of a small part of the vas deferens (in male) or tied up through a small incision on the scrotum and fallopian tube (in female) or tied up through a small incision through the vagina. The method does not affect the formation of gametes in either in male or in female but actually prevents the flow of gamete during intercourse so that there will be no mating of male sperm with female egg to prevent fertilisation to occur.
