(a) Sulphuric acid forms two types of salts with NaOH because it is a dibasic acid.
NaOH+H2SO4NaHSO4Sodium hydrogensulphate+H2O2NaOH+H2SO4Na2SO4Sodium sulphate+2H2O

(b) When conc. H2SO4 is added to hydrogen bromide (HBr), red brown vapours of bromine gas are produced due to the oxidation of hydrogen bromide.
H2SO4 (conc.)H2O+SO2+O2HBr+OH2O+Br2

(c) A piece of wood becomes black when conc. H2SO4 is poured on it due to the dehydrating action of the acid. Wood, which is largely cellulose [C6H10O5]N gets charred by conc. H2SO4.
