Growing crops is a man-made change:

  • Changes that occur due to the action of human beings are called man-made changes. For example, the construction of bridges and roads.
  • Similarly, when crops are grown in a specific manner under-maintained conditions by humans, which require sewing the seed, irrigation, and mixing fertilizers and pesticide, cultivation then it is known as man-made changes.

Growth of plants is a natural change:

  • Changes that occur naturally are called as natural changes.
  • Humans have no control over the occurrence of such changes. For example, germination of seed.
  • Once suitable condition are available, seed grows naturally without human intervention.
  • So, the growth of plants is an example of natural change,
