Solution
(i) Aluminium foils are used to wrap food items because:
Aluminium metal being malleable can be beaten into thin sheets of foils which are ideal for wrapping food.
It doesn't react with the food item and doesn't alter its taste.
(ii) Metals are good conductors of heat and electricity. This means that metals allow heat and electricity to pass through them easily.
Therefore, immersion rods get hot soon and transfer the heat to the liquid and make it warm.
