The ratio of the mass of the body to the volume occupied by the body is called density.
$D e n s i t y (ρ) = \frac{M a s s (m)}{V o l u m e (V)}$ , here density and mass are directly proportional to each other.
For an equal volume, if the body mass is high compared to a lighter body, the body will possess a higher density.
Hence, a heavier body has a higher density if it has equal volume to a lighter body.
