Give reasons that human beings are living

The basic criteria of any object that can be said as a living creature are-

• It should take up nutrition, metabolise the taken food and convert it into chemical energy energy for growth, repair and development.
• It should remove or excrete out the waste by-products from the body.
• It should be able to respire.
• It should have sensitivity and able to respond to its surrounding.
• It should have the ability to reproduce.
• It should increase the number of cells and undergoes cell division process..
• It can change its position and move from one place to other.

As humans satisfy all the above criteria, humans are considered as living beings
